CRO Annual Return

Every company, whether trading or not, is obliged to file an annual return with the Companies Registration
Office (CRO) once at least in every calendar year. Financial Accounts must generally be annexed to the
annual return.

A company’s annual return must be made up to a date which is not later than its annual return date (ARD),
save in respect of the first return of a new company which is required to be made up to a date not later than
six months from it’s incorporation,

A new company is not required to annex accounts to it’s first return.

Legislation places significant responsibilities on directors and the company secretary to maintain all the
necessary statutory registers, file forms and documents with the Companies Registration Office (CRO).

RegisterMyCompany.ie will prepare and file your company’s first CRO return and let you get on with running
your business.
